Digimon Alysion is a mobile Digimon Card Game experience where you digivolve Digimon, manage memory, and break through five Security cards before a direct attack wins the match. The digital client handles several steps that physical players resolve by hand, while Breeding choices and Main-phase decisions stay on you. For card colors and types, see our card types and colors guide; for app-only features, read Alysion vs the physical game.

Your main deck must contain exactly 50 cards. Your Digi-Egg deck holds up to five Digi-Egg cards. You may include up to four copies of the same card number in a deck. The same Digimon name can appear more than four times if each copy uses a different card number, which matters when you pull duplicates from packs such as BD-01 New Evolution.

Deck-building aids and banned or restricted lists for ranked play are Not announced. Closed-beta players noted deck editing could feel awkward; see the closed beta recap for survey feedback, not final balance rules.

How do you win a match in Digimon Alysion?

Victory comes from the classic Digimon Card Game security loop: reduce your opponent’s Security stack until all five security cards are checked, then land a direct attack with your Digimon. The official System page frames this as breaking through five security cards before the finishing blow. Match formats beyond standard PvP (tournament rules, turn timers) are Not announced.

How does the Memory gauge control your turn?

Memory tracks who pays for plays. When you play a card, you pay its cost and the memory counter moves toward your opponent’s side. When the counter shows 1 or more on the opponent’s side, your turn ends. The app manages cost payment for you in the digital version.

The official materials reviewed here do not state a maximum memory value on the gauge. Do not assume a cap from the physical game’s table layouts unless BANDAI confirms it for Alysion.

What are the five turn steps in Digimon Alysion?

Each turn follows five phases in order:

  1. Unsuspend — Ready suspended cards in your battle area. Handled by the app.
  2. Draw — Draw one card. The player who goes first does not draw on their first turn. Handled by the app.
  3. Breeding — Hatch a Digi-Egg, move a Digimon with DP from the breeding area to the battle area, or skip. You choose (one action only).
  4. Main — Digivolve, play Digimon or Tamers, use Options, attack, and other main actions in any order. You choose.
  5. Turn End — Occurs when memory sits on the opponent’s side at 1 or more.

Card effects trigger and resolve automatically once you commit an action—the app applies them without manual priority passing like a paper table. Exact timing edge cases versus the physical rulebook are Not announced.

What do the main screen zones mean?

The client labels eight play areas on the official System page:

Zone Role
Deck Zone Your main deck
Trash Discarded cards
Hand Starts at five cards; no hand limit
Battle Area Digimon and Tamers; placement limit applies
Breeding Area Hatched Digimon waiting to enter battle
Digi-Egg Deck Up to five eggs; hatch during Breeding
Security Stack Five face-down security cards to break
Memory Gauge Tracks turn ownership via costs

Breeding ties into the separate breeding and Digidex progression layer outside a single match’s zones. Story Mode teaches these steps; see story mode characters for who guides Kanata through tutorials.

What should new players do before launch?

Pre-register if you want launch rewards—our pre-registration rewards page lists milestone gifts. Check release date status for the official “Planned for 2026” launch window. When the app goes live, run through Story Mode first; the System rules above mirror what the tutorial covers.
