Why is App Store showing “Expected Dec 23, 2026”?
The U.S. App Store listing may display Expected Dec 23, 2026 on the pre-registration page. The same page includes a footnote, quoted here in full:
“The planned release date listed on the pre-registration page in the respective store is the registration date based on your device’s system. It does not represent the official release date.”
Gematsu (October 28, 2026) reports that December 23 may be a placeholder date, while the news release still only says planned for 2026. Treat any store “expected” line as a store-system placeholder, not a BANDAI launch confirmation.
